And our favorite implied-but-not-really brocon-siscon pair is back.

And by back I really mean it just announces itself to be back, showing that after Kirino went back home from the US, everything is back to normal. Apparently, this season kind of followed the true route where Kirino did go to the US, but struggled there and went back home after a few months after Kyousuke went to fetch her.

So anyway, she’s back, and things are back to status quo. Her relationship with Kyousuke is still the same, with the frequent squabbling, verbal abuse and whatnot. The usual stuff that makes Kirino one of the most annoying and cute characters at the same time.
And yes, her pushing Kyousuke around to help her with her otaku hobbies are still there…

And that’s kind of a shame for this season’s first episode. It doesn’t really add anything to the story. It just pretty much shows everything is back to normal. The only thing that you could say has any form of development is with regard to Kyousuke and Kuroneko’s relationship.

So yeah, after Kuroneko kissed Kyousuke, they haven’t really talked about it so there’s this level of awkwardness between the two of them. And that counts as something that I believe every viewer of this show is looking forward to follow.
So through and through, it just extends season 1.
