Gaming mousepads are somewhat, “expanding” these days. A booming company in the Philippines best known for their cases, Tecware tries something different today, as they offer their first gaming mousepad – the Tecware Haste XXL Gaming Mousepad. Does it live up to the companies’ standards? Let’s find out.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
For me, flashy gaming mousepads are somewhat not really what I’m into. But the Tecware Haste XXL has some good in it. The fabric of the mousepad is fantastic. The design is just simply black, and the overall feel of it is just great. Personally for me, I love it. It’s sleek, simple, and the fabric is just perfect. Something unusual to see considering it’s price and it’s size.
The size is sufficient for an extended mousepad. It isn’t too large compared to the Ttesports Dasher Extended, and that’s a good thing. To those with small desks, or to those whose preference isn’t on HUGE mousepads, this one seems to fit the job. For me, I personally love this accompanying my Asus K401LB and SteelSeries Kinzu V3.
FABRIC:
Not much is known as to what kind of fabric is used here, but so far, it’s amazing – atleast for me. According to Tecware, it is made up of High density fabric – though not stated on what kind.
Upon expecting the entire mousepad, I didn’t see any kind of marks/dents, or anything unusual with it. The build of this is just great. The weaving on the sides is perfect, I haven’t seen any unwanted threads hangout around, and the rubber base is also great. The mousepad never slipped, not even once upon my usage in various situations.
Just look at that fabric.
Over here we have the beautifully painted “Haste” logo at the upper right corner of the mousepad.
Water-resistance is decent and water beads off nicely and takes a good while before absorbing into the fabric, giving you plenty of time to wipe it off in case of spills.
We have the Kinzu v3 upclose with the Tecware Haste. Just look at that fabric.
USER EXPERIENCE & VERDICT:
I tested it out with my Kinzu V3, and I instantly loved the grit that the mousepad has. I then played Dota 2 and CS:GO, and the tracking of the Kinzu V3 is great. There we’re no noticeable delays compared to cheaper mousepads, and for CS:GO, it served pretty well, having the sensitivity on my settings, I managed to have issues whatsoever with it. The thing that I loved with this mousepad is that, it’s fully water resistant (Not waterproof). I accidentally spilled water over my desk and noticed that, the water didn’t really affect the mousepad at all.
Best part about this is that it’s washable and compared to other gaming mousepads, the Tecware Haste probably has the best feel that I’ve encountered, especially for it’s price. I’m not a fan of flashy mousepads with giant logos, or RGB lighting, I prefer having a simple mousepad that gets it’s job done. And that’s what the Tecware Haste XXL Gaming Mousepad brings to the table.
I honestly don’t like slippery mousepads. I prefer mousepads with grit, but not too much, just the right kind. This is why I instantly loved the Tecware Haste, especially for it’s price. The grit of it is just perfect for me, and it’s great at playing CS:GO because you tend to have more control in your aim (atleast for me)
I hope in the near future Tecware will release other sizes of Haste, but keep it’s traditional simplistic design.
Overall, for it’s feel, price, and size, the Tecware Haste XXL is probably, the best extended mousepad that I’ve used.
