Intel’s 4th generation Core processors have now been available for quite some time now and as with every generation, motherboard manufacturers have been at each other’s throat to outgun each other in terms of feature amongst other things. With each company dedicating special brands to specific market segments, there is a lot to choose from. Today we’ll be checking out the latest addition to ASUS’ TUF line of motherboards, the Sabertooth Z87 LGA1150 motherboard. The TUF line packs ASUS’ top-of-the-line components and are guaranteed to survive the harshest environments. Read on and let’s take our first Z87 motherboard for a spin.

The Sabertooth is the flagship product in the ASUS TUF line and we’re now seeing the latest addition to this tried and tested line of products. Past Sabertooth models have set the bar pretty high so the Z87 rendition being the latest have a lot to prove.
