It’s official — Windows 10 will be available on 29 July for PCs and tablets.
According to this blog post from the Windows Blog, Windows 10 will be available for PCs and tablets in 190 countries as a free upgrade for the first year for qualified Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 devices. Pirates can upgrade, but their copies will be non-genuine and requires activation.

As a Windows Insider myself, Windows 10 is not shaping up to be the platform Microsoft wants to keep “forever”, and nowhere near a release build. But then again, your PC can reserve a free copy by installing the latest Windows Update and signing up for the “reservation” program. You can find more info about this reservation process on this link.
One interesting feature they added to the latest build is the ability of the Xbox app to take screenshots and record your game, provided you have the proper equipment, without having to rely on third-party programs. That’s neat and dandy, if you ask me.
