Ubisoft announced that they will no longer be releasing updates for Uplay on PCs that runs on Windows Vista. With official support for Windows Vista soon to end, the Uplay team and the Ubisoft management have decided to end their support of this now legacy operating system. This will allow them to take advantage of newer technologies moving forward and ensure the highest possible security for their users.

– Users currently using Windows Vista will still have access to their games; however, they will be unable to receive future Uplay PC client updates once support ends.

– If you are one of the few still using Windows Vista, Ubisoft strongly urges you to upgrade to a newer, more secure version of Windows at your earliest convenience.
At the time it was released Vista was asking for so much but computers had less than 1gb of memory, so we waited for Windows 7 instead.
