According to a joystiq post. Capcom and Sony pictures are working on another Resident Evil CG movie, titled Resident Evil: Damnation. The movie’s slated to come out January by next year and is a sequel to Resident Evil: Degeneration.
There have been no other info regarding the movie but it seems that Leon S. Kennedy is coming back in Damnation. I’ll be keeping my eyes out on any updates regarding this film. I really enjoyed watching degeneration and was fun to finally see Leon get a lady that he seems to like. But I’m not keeping my hopes up on seeing a the characters from the Degeneration coming back here save for RE mainstays.
Resident Evil: Degeneration, known in Japan as Biohazard: Degeneration (ãƒã‚¤ã‚ªãƒã‚¶ãƒ¼ãƒ‰ï¼šãƒ‡ã‚£ã‚¸ã‚§ãƒãƒ¬ãƒ¼ã‚·ãƒ§ãƒ³, BaiohazÄdo: DijenerÄ“shon?), is the first full-length Japanese CG animation feature based upon Capcom‘s Resident Evil video game series. It was announced by Capcom and Sony Pictures Entertainment on October 29, 2007.
Unlike the previous Resident Evil film trilogy, Degeneration is set within the same universe as the original video games.[1] The main characters are Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, who appear together for the first time since Resident Evil 2.[2] The film made its premiere in Japan on October 11, 2008 at the Tokyo Game Show,[3] and was released nationwide one week later on October 18. The DVD and Blu-ray were released on December 26, 2008 in Japan and December 27, 2008 in North America.[4] It was released in the United Kingdom on January 12, 2009.
Leon still looks way hotter in RE4.
