We dropped by the Palit HQ in Taiwan during Computex to checkout their latest offering for the new GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards from NVIDIA.
During our tour, Palit showed us their new pair of custom GPU cooler, the GameRock and the new redesign of the Jetstream. The GameRock will be Palit’s flagship card featuring higher clock rates and features than the Jetstream while the latter will serve as the mainstream variant. Both cards will also be receiving overclocked editions of themselves which already add on top of the factory OC that comes with both cards.
Also on display is the new Palit G-Panel, an info display dock that connects via USB and fits into a 5.25″ bay in your case and displays information about your GPU.
Do not judge just by the look and size, judge by performance….hindi pork’et mukhang auhsome eh auhsome din mag perform…hindi ko rein maipagPALIT yan… 🙂

So it’s like the old myth the camera adds 10 pounds?

Oh I would totally confirm this. The thing is really light for a top-end card, the shroud’s plastic but i wonder how it does in real-world with that heatsink underneath. its not as dense as say other cards we’ve seen prior.

Well the old jetstreams were pretty decent cooling wise so I doubt they’d have made too much of a compromise for less weight vs cooling performance… But im sure you’ll keep us posted :p

I would still buy it. Palit’s are great cards, did not give me any problems. ☺
