NVIDIA marketing manager Philip Scholz died January 20 while rescuing a yet to be identified man. Mercury News reports that the 35-year old Scholz saw the man on the tracks and immediately tried to help him off. The unidentified man has survived but is in serious critical condition in the hospital.
It is still unknown why he was on the tracks in the first place.
