NVIDIA has just silently released three mobile GPUs, possibly aimed to bolster upcoming refresh models featuring both AMD and Intel mobile CPUs that should be arriving after CES. The new GPUs are the MX550, MX570 and the RTX 2050.
The GeForce RTX 2050 is a 2048 CUDA core GPU but runs at a lower clock speeds with a lower power envelope of 30-45 watts which the laptop maker can fit into their power envelope. The RTX 2050 is surprisingly rocking more CUDA cores than the RTX 2060 laptop GPU but NVIDIA offsets this further with a smaller 4GB GDDR6 on a 64-bit bus.
The MX550 and MX570 are presumably based on Ampere and will also be running GDDR6. No further details has been made official but NVIDIA is confirming the MX550 replaces the MX450.
