Shut up and take my money… next March.
It’ pretty known by now that Capcom tends to be such a tease with Western releases of their money-printing Monster Hunter franchise. While there eventually was an English language release of Monster Hunter Tri, non-Japanese-reading audiences had to deal with importing and/or applying translation patches to the excellent Monster Hunter Portable 3rd on PSP.
Well, looks like we’re getting a lucky break in the form of Capcom’s recent announcement: they’re bringing over Monster Hunter Tri G over to the West in the form of Monster Hunter Ultimate 3. What’s that? Do I hear you humming the MH theme now? Anyway, the game will be on 3DS and Wii U, with cross-platform saves and the latter getting online multiplayer.
While there’s no definite release date yet, Capcom have slated it for a March 2013 release.
