Mat Online’s New Patch Introduces Clan System

THE CLAN DOESN’T EXPIRE. ONCE YOU CREATE IT, IT WILL BE PERMANENT.

First, you need to buy the Clan Creation Card from M.A.T. Online’s item mall. You don’t have to equip it or use it on your storage, as long as it’s there you’ll be able to create a clan.

Next, you need to click on the ‘CLAN’ button, it will be asking for a clan password. This password is going to be used to login to M.A.T. Online’s clan portal which is: http://clan.mat.com.ph. After clicking on the ‘Save Password’ button, click on ‘Clan Management’ and it will open up the website of M.A.T. Online’s clan portal.

On the clan portal, you have to login using your username and the password you typed in the clan password a while ago. Make sure you put Philippines in the Area and copy the capcha code and hit Login.

Here, you have the option to create your own team or apply to join other clans.

Joining a clan:
If you want to join an existing clan, click on the ‘Join Team’ button and you’ll be able to see all the clans that are open for recruitment. Click on the ‘Join‘ button besides the clan you wish to join.

You have to put in a reason on why you want to apply for this clan, after typing in your reason, hit ‘Submit’.

Your application can now be seen by the team captain, if they decide to accept you in their clan, you’ll be notified.

Creating a clan:
Make sure you have a Clan Creation Card in your storage or else you won’t be able to create a clan. Hit the Create Team button.

A pop up window will appear and you have to type in your Clan name and a brief description of your clan. You may also put the required level of applicants who want to join your clan. Click on ‘Submit’ after you have decided.

After clicking on ‘Submit’ you’ll be able to see that your clan has been created successfully.

Now you’ll see lots of options here. I’ll explain the details that might be a bit complicated for others. First is the ‘Job Appoint’. You may set your admins in your clan, admins are allowed to accept members, edit announcements and kick members of your clan. To set someone to be an admin, key in their “Char ID” (Char ID of your members can be seen when you click on the Teammate List.)

You’ll be able to see the names of the members you made admins below. You also have the option to remove them from being an admin. Just click on the ‘Dismiss’ button besides their name. Make sure you key in your admin pass before clicking on the ‘Dismiss’ button.

To accept members, click on the ‘Process’ button. Here you’ll see the players who wish to join your clan, you’ll be able to review their applications here.

Other functions like ‘Set Admin Pass’ is very important. Default is 123456, you have to set it to something only you would know. This is used to change the settings in your clan and only the team captain has access to this.

Team Bank is used to store Silver. Team Captains and Admins have the right to initiate clan matches, and every match needs 5,000 silver coins. Make sure you have enough silver or you won’t be able to start a match.

Now that you know the functions of the clan portal, I’ll teach you how to set up a clan match:

Join the Clan Battle channel.

Here you’ll be able to create a game room normally, but you’ll notice that there are only two modes available. The phantom match and the bomb match. Choose one you wish to have a clan battle on.

After creating, 5,000 silver (1,000 per member) will be deducted from your bank, your clan members will now be able to join the room you made. When you click on ready the system will find a suitable match for your clan to battle with.

Mechanics of the clan match:

Game is raise to 9, who gets to play red or blue team will be random. After playing 9 rounds, the teams will automatically switch sides and the one who gets to win 9 rounds first will win. In case of a sweep (9-0) there will be no switching sides.

Example 1:

Team A (red)  – 5 rounds win
Team B (blue) – 4 rounds win

Teams will automatically switch sides after 9 rounds.

Team A (blue) – needs 4 rounds to win
Team B (red)  – needs 5 rounds to win

Example 2:

Team A (red)  – 0 wins
Team B (blue) – 9 wins

Game is over, team B wins.
