Marvel VS Capcom 3′s List of Deconfirmed Characters

One of the main draws of massive crossover games like Marvel VS Capcom 3 is the speculation over which characters will make it into the final roster. Well, Capcom, by way of Eventhubs just made our jobs easier… and probably broke a lot of hearts along the way.I’m not going to sugarcoat this one. Someone you’ve wanted to see in the game is likely to be in this list. Let’s pick through a couple of them from each side, shall we?

For Marvel:

• Blade – There goes my chance of seeing him going up against Demitri or even Dante
• Daredevil – Then again, I wonder how the whole “blind acrobat” thing and radar sense is going to come into play
• Dr. Strange – Strange indeed, because Dormammu, his major villain is actually in the game

For the Capcom side we have:

• Phoenix Wright – Fans have been clamoring for his inclusion since Tatsunoko VS Capcom. I guess Capcom objected to it.
• Demitri – Yep… way to rub it in, Capcom.
• Megaman X – But wait! Check out this IMDB listing. Looks like we’re getting Megaman after all… just not his X incarnation, which is fine enough for me.

The list also includes a “questionable” section that you should definitely check out. Who knows, there might be hope for your favorite character just yet. I still find it sad that characters from some other Capcom franchises won’t be making the cut, though. With that of the way, let the speculation continue!
