Pre-order has just opened for Mad Catz’ M.O.J.O. micro-console. M.O.J.O. is an Android-based device powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra4 SoC and with 2GB of RAM. If that sounds familiar, those are pretty much the same specs as NVIDIA’s SHIELD although the MOJO is offered as a console rather than handheld. That being said though, the MOJO’s controller seems like a redesigned XBOX360 controller but has extra buttons for multimedia controls. Another curious feature of the MOJO’s controller is a clip that can hold your smartphone and ability to be paired with it as well which gives you basically a handheld.
MOJO Mini-site
As with the SHIELD, launch titles are a bit sparse but more information should surface before the December release of the MOJO.
You can check-out Mad Catz site for more information. Pre-order is available for the following areas:
The MOJO retails for US$250.
