Following Intel’s new driver update for their Arc graphics card last week, Intel has published new slides highlighting the new performance of the Arc A750, pushing it on a better performance-per-dollar scale than the $350 RTX 3060.
The latest Intel Arc drivers bumps up performance a couple of DirectX 12 titles ranging from 4% up to past 60% on various resolutions. Intel’s slide shows internal testing result showing performance in Dead Space Remake that slightly edges out the RTX 3060 in both 1080p and 1440p. With the Arc A750 coming in at $250, despite its lower clock speed, it is certainly an achievement if it can keep up with with the RTX 3060.
We reviewed the Arc A750 at the start of the year. New driver updates have increased performance over the months after and its definitely positioning the Arc A750 as the best value card in the sub-$300 range right now especially with both NVIDIA and AMD looking hesitant to bring cards back to this pricing level.
