5 March, 2015 marks the arrival of Phantasy Star Online 2 SEA‘s newest episode, the Deuman race and Samurai (Braver) class. And it’s more interesting to play than a Hunter.
Deuman is the newest race to join the ARKS team, an all-around race seemingly created to promote the Samurai class. They start off with high ATK stats which will keep them on par with the Humans but with low HP like the Newmans so it’s really advisable to tag a Wizard or Techer in a party or invest in anti-elemental damage gear early in your character’s career.
 
Not as cute as Newman, but cute nonetheless.
Samurai also known as the Braver class in PSO2 JP is a class specializing in melee and ranged combat wielding katana and bullet bows to wreck havoc among D-arkers. They also have lightning fast single-target and powerful area-of-effect melee Photon Moves which gives them the upper hand if mobbed. They can also play the ranged game with Moves which hurl concentrated Photon arrows at a target or showers enemies from a distance.

I’d actually want to show off how awesome a Bullet Bow-based Samurai is,Â
but no, auto-cap is not available and this boss is crazy as hell.
Apparently, Marlu still hates Hunters. I feel you girl.
The White Day Event is also ongoing, with the lobby decorated in blue and white in celebration of White Day, where men respond to the chocolates they received from women on Valentine’s Day by giving white-colored gifts. You can take the White Day event quest by talking to Shea at the ship’s store area.
Hopefully this Deuman will receive something for White Day.
Episode 2Â also includes new story quests for those who just want to experience the universe of Phantasy Star, new Quests to keep you busy when your latest Paradigm Matrix is complete and new Photon Moves which will help you eliminate scums of the universe. To celebrate this, the game also enabled experience boosts and a new character slot to play around with your Deuman-or-whatever Samurai. Skill reset tickets will also be available for a limited time.

The next chapter in the space-spanning world of Phantasy Star Online 2 is here!
Phantasy Star Online 2 gears up for Episode 2, the next chapter in the PSO2 saga that introduces exciting new features and content. Launching March 5, 2015, Episode 2 boasts of the following new features:

We have added numerous Client Requests and Quest for to challenge more of the ARKS. And if you think you’ve got what it takes, then take on the newly-enhanced Dark Falz Elder for the greatest challenge you will ever face!

- Seasonal Event – Shea also introduces new seasonal event for this release. The “White Day†gain
- rewards as you finish her requests.
- New Scratch Items – in line with the introduction of the new race and class. There will be more costumes and scratch items for players to play with their characters and quarters.
