The 2010 Philippine Blog Awards may be over and Back2Gaming won both nominations, but it’s Back2Work here for us, dishing out more video gaming news. And it’s time to Back2Dreamcast for this bullet hell shooter!
The Sega Dreamcast is considered to be the easiest console to pirate and develop games for, and we don’t know if we can call it a charm or curse. But there are still lots of developers making games for it even after its commercial death in the early 2000s. Germany-based NG:DEV.TEAM, developed Fast Striker 1.5, the Dreamcast port of their original bullet hell shooter, Fast Striker, for the Neo-Geo.
The game has four game modes with varying difficulties and includes an online ranking system. The video above is the game on OMAKE mode. Think of it as Touhou on Lunatic. We’re not sure if you can hold SHIFT for focused movement, though. It also supports Dreamcast’s VMU and Arcade Stick. You can read more about the game on their official site.
Fast Striker 1.5 will be out 21 December, so dust off that Dreamcast and game on.
