MSI’s SSD area showed off the company’s various SSD products including their fastest models yet: the MSI SPATIUM M570 PRO. The MSI SPATIUM M570 PRO is a Gen5 PCIe NVMe SSD capable of 14GB/s reads and 12GB/s writes and MSI showed off the blistering speeds of these SSDs on demo during COMPUTEX 2023.
MSI had a display showing off 2 systems running the SPATIUM M570 PRO with one unit running a single SSD and a secondary unit showing off the RAID0 performance of the SPATIUM M570 PRO running off an MSI PCIe Gen5 M.2 XPANDER card.
The RAID setup contrasts the active cooling installed on the single SPATIUM M570 PRO on display. MSI’s cooling solutions borrow heavily from their GPU designs, with the passive coolers using FROZR design fins. The SPATIUM FROZR+ active cooler is comparatively tighter and features heatpiped routing through the fin stack.
MSI used Crystal DiskMark on demo mode to show off a public demo of the drives reading and writing, cycling again and again on interval to show its a live demo with the temperatures of the SSD on display as well to prove the claim that MSI’s SSD coolers can drop the temps by less than 30*C on the active cooler and 20*C cooler on the passive cooler.
Also on display are MSI’s other SSD products.
