With gameplay streaming a highly popular content nowadays, platforms like Twitch.TV have had lucrative success of utilizing this craze into a service that generates good income and now the most-used game distribution platform wants in on the pie as Valve introduces Steam Broadcasting.
Steam Broadcasting is currently in beta and available to everyone. When a friend requests to view your game, you will be prompted to broadcast your game. Note that bandwidth requirements apply. Once up, your game stream will be available via your page or if you choose to, the Steam Broadcasting community.
The feature is still young and has plenty of room for improvement. We’re looking forward as this technology improves and how Valve takes it further.
Yea, watch me get trash talked.
