ASUS is kickstarting a charity campaign to help charity organizations get donations thru its campaign for tech enthusiasts, industry experts or basically anyone called “Build Together, Give Together”. By using the love of PC building sharing your PC build video, newbies, enthusiasts, professionals from any walks of life can help spread this message and and expand the love of PC building at the same time.
ASUS SVP Jackie Hsu kicks off the campaign in the video above where he shares the background of the campaign and how PC building has transcended just building a tool but an experience in itself where PC building has now reached the point where its a unifying, bonding experience for friends and family.
The campaign aims to collect donations in the form of spare computers, peripherals, accessories or in financial aid to help charitable foundations fulfill their request for computers and other related projects to aid their organization.
Build Together, Give Together Partner Charities
ASUS is partnering with popular children and gaming mainstay charities Make-a-Wish, Gamers Outreach and Child’s Play as some of the beneficiaries of this campaign.
These charities offer those who wish to donate various ways of helping out, not just financially but also in other ways like volunteering or donating hardware or even in cryptocurrency. You may also directly help any local charitable foundation at your discretion.
To help spread awareness, you can use the #BuildTogether #GiveTogether with your PC build project video in social media.
Making a Difference
ASUS partners with Gamer Outreach and Make-a-Wish to provide hardware to help kids cope with their illness and help them make it through their ordeal.
