ASUS has just listed the ROG Strix XG43UQ for $1399 at its US store. A special collaboration release of this monitor will be dubbed the ROG Strix XG43UQ Xbox Edition.
Featuring support for HDMI2.1 and DisplayPort1.4, the ROG Strix XG43UQ Xbox Edition has a maximum resolution of 4K ultra HD (3840×2160) with refresh of up to 144hz. The monitor supports HDR and is rated for a vibrant DisplayHDR1000 rating. ASUS and Microsoft are collaborating on this release to optimized the monitor for the best experience with Xbox Series X|S gaming consoles and will feature a built-in Xbox Mode for optimized gameplay on Microsoft’s gaming console. ASUS is putting in ELMB Sync, AMD Freesync Premium Pro and the monitor will a 1ms response time (MPRT) as well. The ASUS ROG Strix XG43UQ will utilize a VA panel.
Sources close to ASUS reveal that ROG Strix XG43UQ Xbox Edition will also be available in the Philippines and could open up pre-orders soon.
