AMD is now revealing the rest of their Zen4 CPU stacks during CES 2023, unveiling 65W models that should increase their options for socket AM5. AMD is now adding non-X models SKUs with the Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700 and the Ryzen 5 7600.
AMD Ryzen 7000 65W CPU Line-up
- Ryzen 5 7600 – 6-core/12-thread, 5.1 Ghz Turbo, 38MB cache, 65W TDP
- Ryzen 7 7700 – 8-core/16-thread, 5.3Ghz Turbo, 40MB cache, 65W TDP
- Ryzen 9 7900- 12-core/24-thread, 5.4Ghz Turbo, 76MB cache, 65W TDP
All 3 CPUs will have a TDP of 65W with relatively lower boost clocks than their X-series counterpart. AMD did not release a 16-core part with the release wave and quite sadder is the absence of Ryzen 3 SKUs for the entry level market.
AMD’s new non-X CPUs are expected to be available by January 10, 2023 and will include box coolers in the packaging with the Ryzen 5 still relegated to the screw-on Wraith Stealth while the Ryzen 7 and Ryzen come with the Wratih prism snap-on stock cooler.
