If you are heading into The Burning Crusade, then there are ways in which you can prepare beforehand. This article will predominantly be discussing what you should be investing your WoW TBC gold in.
The goal of investing your gold is to prepare for prices increasing in TBC. This is why it would be in your best interests to invest what you have to cope with the gold inflation that updates and expansions often bring. Selling everything in your WoW Classic bags may not be enough in this case, so we are going to be looking at what else we can do to help.
Investing WoW TBC Gold
Knowing what to prepare for is going to be a massive boost in TBC. A lot of prices are expected to rise, so the best gear to invest in will be what’s going to be used the most in the new expansion. With that in mind, we are going to want to focus on certain profession items, as they play a huge role in TBC. Since WoW TBC gold is going to be much more prominent, we will be looking to our professions such as Leatherworking, Alchemy, and Jewelcrafting.
Since Jewelcrafting TBC is new, there will be a lot of demand for the items that help it. Then of course the likes of Leatherworking will help with raiding stuff and masteries that come from Alchemy will be important. For Jewelcrafting TBC, we are going to be looking for items such as gems, Thorium Ore and Mithril Ore. Other items that are used for levelling will also be very handy to you, such as herbs and leather.
If you are going to be levelling up Jewelcrafting TBC, then you are going to need plenty of Mithril and Thorium Ore, though the former is in much shorter supply. Since Golden Sansam is cheap at the moment, it might be worth picking some up as it is a high-level herb. This is a good thing to invest in early, and will prepare you for what’s to come. As for the leather, we should be focusing on Rugged Leather to get us to 300 Leatherworking, but in all honesty any leather that you invest your WoW TBC gold in is going to come in handy to you.
You may also be aware of the tactic of working the Auction House by buying at low prices then selling for inflated prices when the raid reset occurs. If so, then you are going to be familiar with buying potions then flipping them. This is going to be useful for TBC, since even though they are going to be used as they are now, there will still be a lower supply for them, so make sure to take advantage.
Getting Ready for WoW Classic TBC
So you have an idea of what kind of items you should be investing your WoW TBC Classic gold in by now. You should also take a heads up on what to expect when it arrives. For example, the amount of experience you need to reach level 60 will see a 30% increase give or take. With that in mind, levelling alts at this stage would be wise.
This way, you are getting yourself ahead of the game. The max levels needed to get to the end of your profession will be increased. There are even instances where you will have to make your way through dungeons that are level 70 at some point, so be aware when going into this new expansion. So level what you can up just to give yourself that head start when playing the game.
Knowing what WoW TBC Classic items to get may be the boost you are looking for, but in some cases, it is difficult to know exactly what to look for. What we do know is that there will be a lot of stark differences between WoW Classic and TBC in this particular instance. Data taken from private servers has given us an idea of what to expect, as have Auction House websites. That said, this can only really give us a rough idea of the WoW TBC Classic items we need to be focusing on.
You should now be a bit more prepared for what The Burning Crusade will bring, and how you can get ahead of the game going into it. There will be some investment required on your part, but it will be more than worth it in the long run to get to where you need to be in the next expansion.
