UPDATE DECEMBER 2020
As many of you may have noticed this article has not been updated since June 2020 and this workaround has stopped working a few months ago. Many have been asking for an update but there’s no easy way now. There is an option but it requires a few things including downgrading your firmware. This can either be easy or hard depending on your technical knowledge but there is a risk of bricking your phone in the process. Still, we persevere.
As of October we now have a new workaround and it requires the installation of Googlefier.
Googlefier is a tool that helps in installing necessary apps and service for Google to function in your Huawei phone. Once installed, it will help us in proceeding with some of the steps we’ve done before in our earlier guide for installing Google in Huawei phones.
Anyway, I don’t have a Huawei phone anymore due to this persistent issues and we only wish things go better for the phone giant next year. In the meantime, here’s a workaround so you can install Google Play Services on your Huawei phone.
Huaweiblog.de has posted another solution thanks to the folks at XDA developers. The full guide is in the link below:

As always, once the workaround is performed, there will be limitations to your installation but it beats never having it in the first place.
I have noticed that Huawei has increase their Huawei AppGallery contents in recent months and have significantly bolstered it in markets where they have a very strong presence. Still, its quite difficult to compete with Google’s native support and applications and we hope this workaround to install Google Play Services on your Huawei phone will help you enjoy your Huawei phone more.
