Here's a quick fix for that polling-rate bug in Windows 8/8.1. What bug? The kind that turns your gaming mouse into a CDRKING model.

It has been reported that some people that are using Windows 8.1 still experiences the "Mouse Lag" issue since Windows 8. This issue started to rise  around after a month or two from the day of the release of the official Windows 8 Operating System. This issue is very noticeable for people who play games intensively on their Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 based computer. Microsoft finally took a step  to release a fix for this issue. Yay! Unfortunately... This fix will not be installed automatically nor will be displayed in your Windows Update panel of updates. People who installed the fix actually got their "Mouse Lag" issue fixed. I haven't seen any negative feedback about it yet but who knows.
